How do I know if I am having a problem with my ISP or with mail service or mail server at omf.net?

Go to www.omf.net, choose Web Mail, and see

1)    If you can access your mail online.  If not, check that you have entered your full email address correctly (including the "@omf.net" portion).  If that is correct, then you may have entered your password incorrectly.

2)   If you are able to read your mail on-line see if there is a large email (1 MB or more), which could be blocking the download.  You can read it on-line and delete it, and then see if the other emails will download.

If the on-line tests reveal no problems, check your email software settings at www.omf.net, from the Setting up your PC’s email client software" option.

If those exactly match you should read the description of problems with local ISP's and their connectivity issues in the “ISP Standards for OMFers” document.

If your connection is slow and you are having problems of bandwidth, please see bandwidth guide: click here (set new link)
