I get garbage characters in my e-mail. Is there a way to retrieve my email, how can I fix this problem?

FOR OUTLOOK '98 USERS:
To retrieve messages that come in Outlook with garbage characters. You can do the following:

Ø    Create a new folder called temp in your inbox
Ø    Move the message to the temp folder (You can mouse drag and drop)
Ø    Go to the temp folder (see that your message(s) are there)
Ø    On the "File" menu under Outlook - Choose "Import and Export"
Ø    In the next menu Choose "Export to a file"
Ø    In the next menu Choose "Comma Seperated Values (Windows)"
Ø    In the next menu Choose the folder "temp" under your inbox
Ø    In the next menu type "c:\windows\desktop\lostmessage.rtf" Click Next and then Click finish.
Ø    A file called lostmessage.rtf should appear on your desktop.  Double click on this to retrieve messages. Currently Microsoft has not released any patches to fix this bug!!

FOR OUTLOOK EXPRESS USERS:
To retrieve messages that come in Outlook Express with garbage characters. You can do the following:

Ø    Open the message with garbage characters.
Ø    Click on File - Properties
Ø    A new window will open - Click on "Details" Tab
Ø    Now click on "Message Source" button to see your message.
Ø    You could select the message and do "Ctrl-C" to copy and "Ctrl-v" to paste it into your favorite text editor - Word or Wordpad
