How do I use BCC?
What is it? The BCC field in an email is just the same as the TO or CC field, only the other recipients cannot see any of the individuals who are specified in the BCC field. It should be located just under the TO or CC field, as shown in the picture just below.
Why would I use it? Lets just say that one of the Upgrade Q&A Technicians is needing to email the IHQ Network Technician regarding some information and is wanting to keep the IIT Director in the loop as the situation may be serious enough for him to have a record of the situation (and the rest of the Upgrade Q&A Team informed as to what is happening). The BCC field is then a good way to keep the Upgrade Q&A Team informed of things without the IHQ Network Technician and IIT Director noticing or having to wonder why the Team was included. In that way, they can then be focused on the content of the email and not who it was sent to.
How do I use it?
Well its very easy actually! The BCC field works in the same way as the TO and CC fields. You can type in the address or select entries from your address book.
How do I create an e-mail list that will not show the individuals in the group? The same way you do it with the TO and CC fields. Each entry is separated by a semi-colon or comma so you get something looking like the following:
